With the new one Something®-Serie from Nabtesco is completely closed gear units. Modular gear concept
The something®-Gearboxes achieve high precision with a hysteresis loss of only 0,5 arc.min, are extremely robust thanks to double-bearing eccentric shafts and the bearing-mounted drive shaft and offer high overload capacity and torsional rigidity. Their low weight also ensures a lower mass inertia, improved load conditions and energy savings in application. The motor shaft adaptation takes place via a radial clamping ring in low-inertia design. This reduces the inertia on the motor shaft by up to 39 Percent and thus enables extremely dynamic cycles. The advantages for the user are obvious: shorter cycle times, higher productivity and economy. The assembly effort for the engine is also reduced many times over, as there is no need to align the drive pinion. A flexible system with modular sleeves and flanges guarantees uncomplicated adaptation of all common servomotors.
Holistic corrosion protection
In addition to the technical innovations, the Neco impresses® also through a sophisticated one Corrosion protection concept. With SSA-Coating (a special Nabtesco corrosion protection method) as well as oxidation, several processes are used. The result is holistic corrosion protection, The output shaft and the running surfaces for the radial shaft sealing rings are also resistant to corrosion.
